What An Antitrust Case Against Google Might Look Like

The global reach of search and Google’s overwhelming share of search and search advertising gives it unprecedented access to global consumers. That reach cuts both ways and gives antitrust regulators around the world access to Google. The rules these regulators apply to dominant undertakings (as ‘monopolists’ are known in the EU and the EEA) are largely similar to those applied by the US Department of Justice, Fair Trade Commission and US courts.
