Madrid Judge, Raquel Fernandino, has ordered Google to appear in court in October to investigate whether or not Google unlawfully collected data from unsecured wireless networks while gathering data for photographs for its Street View service. The investigation will entail examining the tools used to collect the data, the use of the data and the number of citizens affected as well as investigating whether the data collected included IP addresses, MAC addresses, emails and passwords.
