“I started my first Digital agency in 1999 when the Internet was still in its infancy, so I’ve always been interested in the online marketplace. The Internet continues to increase in importance for our clients at Wunderman, particularly in the economic downturn as clients are looking for more ‘cash-efficient’ ways to continue their dialogue with customers.”
Current thoughts:
“The online marketplace currently lacks some of the checks and balances applied to traditional markets and IP in those markets. As it grows and replaces those markets surely we want the same guarantees of fair conduct?”

“The next 12 to 18 months will see the phone become a credit card and an Oyster card in the UK – it’s likely to propel the phone to be a key tool for marketing and commerce just as we saw that transformation in the Internet’s role when it became a transactional tool.”
